How many of us meditate?

I’m gonna say probably less than a handful of us do right? I know personally meditation always seemed like a chore because I felt I wasn’t “good” at it. But what I came to find out was, meditation is a practice that gets you closer to your state of BEING. It is just a way to bring you closer to the connection you have with yourself.

Because I know people have a tendency to SHUN meditation (myself included), I am going to introduce you to the most perfect book regarding this topic called GET SOMEย HEADSPACE, by Andy Puddicombe.ย I found out about this book after I was introduced to the HEADSPACE Appย that you can download on your phone/computer which I was super excited about because, FIRST, it is the most gorgeous and clean APP you will ever see… (sorry… I’m a girl) and SECOND, it is just so easy to follow and has practices that help you get your “zen” on. I totally encourage you to check it out especially if you are someone who is on the go and feels like there is just no time to meditate… GURRRRLLLL… this app is for you!

Alright, so back to the reason why this book is incredible. Andy Puddicombe has a way of explaining why meditation and mindfulness helps with everyday life stresses… and if I know anything about my ladies, its that ya’ll are walking around feeling stressed and out of control most of the times. How do I know? … Because you tell me thats why!
