Celebrity Relationship Coach, Jamie Greene, Discusses What to Look for in the Right Partner

Today I sit down with Jamie Greene, therapist, turned “Unconventional Coach” (more about that in today’s interview.)

He has always been someone I’ve looked up to in the relationship world. Every article I read of his I can’t stop saying “Amen… Amen… AMEN!”

Here are some of the things we chat about today:

+ How he went from being a therapist for 30+ years to an “Off the Couch” Coach
+ Celebrity Relationships: As a coach to A-List celebrities, I ask the #1 problem he see’s disrupting relationships in Hollywood
+ How intimacy changes after having kids and how to adjust
+ Advice to men on how to support their lady after having a baby
+ The 4 “Pillars” a full man. What to look for in order to be in a thriving sustainable relationship
+ The 4 “Layers” a full woman. What to possess in order to have a thriving sustainable relationship.

FUN FACT: At minute (21:31), while Jamie was talking about being madly in love with his wife yet still knowing there are going to be disagreements and times where you are going to push each other’s buttons…

I said, “Airport Drama!”

Here’s what I meant! Earlier that day, I dropped Andrew at the airport and… as per usual…we were late! #hotmess

The problem this time was that I also had to pick up Jamie Greene from the airport at the same time. So we were not only already late to pick Jamie up, but we were also at the WRONG TERMINAL.

This might seem like a boring story to you but here’s my point. In the car… I lost my patience! And for anyone who knows Andrew, you’d know he is always happy, cool, calm and collected which made my irritation grow stronger because then, I was the only one freaking the fuck out about pick ups and drop offs and he didn’t mind piddle paddling around.

So even as Jamie and I talk about healthy sustainable relationships, it’s important to know that it doesn’t mean you won’t push each other’s buttons at times. The difference is how you react and recover.

PS: Now, that I remember, I think I told Andrew I was going to make him sleep in Astro’s kennel.

I digress…

I’m so excited to share Jamie with you ladies and I hope you take some notes watching. There were several #truthbombs you don’t want to miss that I think could help you in your life and relationships.

  • Omg moments through that whole video!! The pillars and layers…WOW!! I get it now, I finally understand why trying so hard did nothing with my ex. And why I couldn’t have held space for him either. Neither of us were in these fundamental non-negotiable foundation launching pads!! Lol

So so so glad you did this Christal and Jamie!!! I’m heading to the App Store now and the website!!!

This was absolutely what I needed. Thank you so much guys!
I’m hallelujah-ing all the way from Australia 🇦🇺!!!!!🙌❤

  • Wow how interesting is Jamie?! I loved listening to him especially his story of how he started as I feel I have a similar story, Im studying Psychology and would love to do drug counselling but also want to do a life coaching course after my bachelors degree, I am the same and always want to understand people and why they do the things they do without judgements etc.

its so important for new parents to have date night time as its super easy as a new parents to say you go out ill stay with the baby tonight and vice versa and then you find yourselves never going out together or child free.
I LOVED his commitment vowel example, how perfect was that and so bloody true!
Its sad I see so many people get married for the wrong reasons and because they think marriage will secure that relationship…and it just doesn’t.
I am going to check out Jamie’s website, I feel I can learn so much from him from a personal point as well as a studying point.
We totally need to get Jamie on the “Lets just Not” podcast.
    Kristy xx
