Stress is a part of life and something that everyone has to deal with at some point. The most important thing is to find ways to deal with it in a healthy and positive way.
Here are 3 ways to kick stress out of the way!
Get out in nature
Where ever you are whether your backyard is FULL of snow, has a beach or even a desert (like where I live) stepping out and breathing fresh oxygen into your body is a good way to relieve stress. It’s also a healthy way to start the New Years with all your new healthy goals!
“Whenever you feel helpless, do something to HELP someone else.”
I say this a lot, especially since when we stress, we become so wrapped up in what’s not working for us that we forget what is working for us. If there is someone you know that could use your assistance GO GIVE IT TO THEM! Get out of your world and into gratitude.
Since I just mentioned gratitude…
Write at least 5 things/people you are grateful for and why! The reason I say why is because it’s so easy to write down generic things we are grateful for but the why is what gets us to go deeper. And when we go deeper, that’s when we feel them the most. As I’ve said before, the reasons we stress is because we are focusing on the wrong things… So, let’s get it together with this gratitude practice.
