Christal discusses how we need to find the courage to break away from douchebag guys like Kate Winslet did in the movie The Holiday – How she feels about “breaks” in relationships – and if opposites really do attract.
Today I’m hitting you with a three-parter. We talk douchebags exes, breaks in relationships and if they actually work. We also get into why people are confused about the saying “opposites attract.”
WARNING: I got a little … PASSIONATE (by little I mean VERY). Remember the last episode where we talked about breakups and how to recover?
If you haven’t listened to that episode make sure you do, it’s a good one. We discussed the withdrawal process, finding acceptance, how to move on and so much more!
With that said, I got so many messages from ladies about how that episode helped them, but they can’t move on from a relationship because their ex (the one who broke up with THEM) still makes contact with them. This communication is what leaves my ladies hopeful about getting back together.
Here’s the catch though…
These guys don’t want to get back together, so you’re left even more confused and hurt.
I can’t wait to tell you my thoughts on this because I’m so over these “Magician” boys (more on Magicians here). But the way to counter douchebag behavior is doing what Iris (Kate Winslet’s character) did in the movie The Holiday. Thought I’d bring it back to a movie we all know since it’s that time of year ya’ know!
Moving right along, in today’s podcast we also discuss why people say “opposites attract.” There’s quite a bit of confusion as to what this means which is leaving us in relationships where it feels like we are trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. So we got some clearing up to do.
The last thing we discuss is BREAKS in relationships.
