Hey babes! I’ve been feeling a little sluggish lately. Not in a bad way, more like, I want to rest a bit more than usual. So my theme this past week has been to SLOW DOWN. I still feel like I’m doing a million things, but I’m becoming more mindful with each task. I’ve been spending any free time I have reading and journaling and my theme is to SLOW DOWN.

I have an on again off again relationship with journaling to tell you the truth. I’m not really consistent with it. But this week, I’ve felt myself going through a growth spurt. Growth spurts are extremely exciting for me but often times, brings all my fears to the surface. I’ve gone through my fair share of growth spurts so I know that during this time, I need to be extra patient with myself and let go of any expectations I have that might hold me back from transitioning to who I need to be.

That’s what growth spurts are right? A new phase. A time where we step into more of who we need to become. That’s what I’m feeling right now. I have been playing connect the dots lately. Spending time focusing on my gifts and creativity. And allowing myself to play fully into my most authentic expression.

But how do we do that when we got tons of shit to do? GOOD QUESTION!

That’s been my struggle. Hence the reason for my journaling. I’ve been doing several spirit dumps lately. Kind of like the mind dumping I spoke about before, where I take several sheets of paper and write all the thoughts (big, small) running through my head then circle the ones I can prioritize in a week.

Spirit dumping is the same except, I pour my HEART onto paper instead of my head. I have doing my own form of meditation and asking my heart what she is needing of me. What is she craving… Then I write what first comes through.

Now, for the woo-woo part. I just bought the Ascended Masters Angel Cards by Doreen Virtue and have been LIVING FOR THEM.

Every Sunday I have been pulling a card to help me set my intention for the week. Something I can focus on. Then every morning, I do my spirit dump and pull another card to help me set a daily intention. It been crucial for me to slow down and more focused. Some things I thought were important are starting to shift and I feel like I am stepping into a new phase of woman-hood.

I’ll let you know how that goes haha!

I am so thrilled to introduce to you a woman who’s all about women supporting women. An absolute babe who created the very popular platform GirlTalk Network, Sarah Pendrick.

Her events have been hosted nationally and are highly rated. We have the same taste when it comes to that bougie life, so trust that her events are going to make a girl feel like a QUEEN.

I loved sitting down with her to talk life, how GirlTalk Network started, what she thinks about relationships and her secrets to success. I also loved that we could sit down and talk for HOURS. After recording our podcast episode we literally sat at the hotel restaurant and damn near solved all the worlds problems. Ok.. that would take ages but we are down for the challenge. Just give us a little prosecco.

I hope you enjoy today’s podcast and let us know if you have any questions. We will be here to answer them.

OH! And don’t forget to join our FB Group to connect with the beautiful babes of this community. We get LIT in there!
