Could Living a Balanced Life Be a Myth?

by Christal Fuentes

Have you ever found yourself struggling to find this “balanced life” that everyone talks about?

I think the most common thing I hear is, “I just need more balance in my life.” Well, I have a twist for you! Maybe living a balanced life is a myth!

When you see people living your “idea” of a balanced life, maybe it’s not balance they have more than they probably just use their time doing more of what they love (which may not be balanced at all). On the flip side, who you may think lives a more “balanced” life may have problems living a life of passion.

This is how I sometimes deal with the unbalances of life.

So here is my take away of the day, what if we stopped striving for balance, and strived for ways to celebrate the unbalances of life? Why celebrate? Because if we want a life of passion, there needs to be more celebration and sometimes most of the annoyances, struggles and time we “think” we waste could be a good cause for celebration.

What you will find is when you celebrate; things become more guided in your life. Guided in a way that brings more passion and purpose.

In this hot mess of a video, something ironic happened where I had to actually learn what I was teaching. Hope you enjoy and interact by communicating your thoughts and questions!

Peace & Laughter,
