“Should I quit my job? I know it’s not what I want to do for the rest of my life and it’s leaving me unfulfilled, unhappy and frustrated most of the time. However, I’m so scared to quit because I have bills to pay. When is it, really, the right time to leave?”
I’ve been asked this question in so many ways, shapes and forms. I thought this would be the best time to respond in today’s TLC Thursday video.
Like most relationships in our lives, we must look at what each relationship is currently bringing us. Sometimes we are so quick to look at what’s not working, that we forget all the things that are working in our favor.
I discuss three things that will get you clear on whether or not you should quit your job.
On the flip side… there are just some things that need the boot out of our lives including a job we are afraid to quit. Again, clarity is the only thing that will bring you to making the best decision and that can’t happen from an emotional state, so let me guide you through some things that will bring you more clarity.
By the end of this video, you may decide to quit your job immediately. Or you may realize that there’s still room to change your work relationship.
Either way, I still want to hear from you! Do you have a story of a time you quit your job, and ended up feeling good about it? Share your insights below so we can all learn!
