2020 Year End Wrap Up and a Friendly Game of “Relationship Would You Rather?"

2020 Year End Wrap Up and a Friendly Game of “Relationship Would You Rather?”

by Christal Fuentes

In today’s episode, Christal and Chrissy play a game of “Would You Rather” – They discuss their rose and thorn for this past year – Things they are letting go of, and what values they’d like to implement in 2021.

Can you believe we are wrapping up the year? Most of us  might be thinking “FINALLY!”

But to me, it’s bitter sweet.

This year welcomed me into motherhood … Well, I’m not sure “welcomed” is the right word to describe it. Not like I was warmly greeted and handed a cocktail upon entry while being asked if there was anything I needed. It was more like someone throwing me keys from 20ft away screaming, “YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN!”

All the mommies out there, I’m sure can relate.

Regardless of transitioning into one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever experienced, waking up to my sweet angel baby Rowan has been the greatest gift I’ve ever received.

This year definitely came with it’s challenges though. I think as a collective it pushed us outside of our comfort zone. Being forced outside of our comfort zone is not always easy but it presents us with the opportunity to:

  1. Adapt and find the grace
  2. Resist and stay suffering

I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t always easy for me to find the grace within this year. In today’s episode, Chrissy and I discuss our Rose and Thorn’s of the year. I definitely feel the highs of this year outweigh the lows but I’m still slightly rocked by my “thorn’s”

With that said, there are some things I want to let go of that I think are standing in the way of me experiencing joy in the fullest capacity. There are also some values I’d like to adopt that I think would help me to reconnect and strengthen intimacy with Andrew. You know I’m gonna always be real with you. This year we were in pure survival mode after baby

Make sure you listen to today’s episode to find out what we are leaving and taking into this next year.

In other news, today, we played a game of “relationship would you rather” and of course we couldn’t answer one question without rationalizing.

Would You Rather Relationship Edition:

Would you rather have a good partnership that is full love but at some point suffer infidelity or a faithful relationship where you both don’t like each other?

Would you rather date someone who is terrible at sex or hates

Would you rather someone who is extremely clingy or extremely lazy

Would You Rather Never Use Social Media Sites / Apps Again Or

Never Watch Another Movie Or TV Show?

Would You Rather Find Your True Love Or A Suitcase With Five Million Dollars Inside?

Would You Rather Be Happy And Content But Not Achieve Much Or Never Be Satisfied But Achieve A Lot?

Would You Rather Date With A Confident Guy Or A Shy Guy?

Would You Rather Have Everything On Your Phone Right Now (Browsing History, Photos, Etc.) Made Public To Anyone Who Googles Your Name Or Never Use A Cell Phone Again?

Would you rather get completely stood up before a first date or get ghosted after a first date you thought went well?

Would you rather date someone with different political beliefs but similar interests or someone who has similar political beliefs but different interests.

Would you rather date someone that your family despises, but your friends love, or date someone that your friends can’t stand, but your family loves?

Would you rather date someone who only has wild kinky sex, or strictly boring missionary for the rest

Would you rather never be cheated on, but suffer from EXTREME jealousy on a daily basis or…. Be cheated on regularly but never know about it nor suspect a thing?
