How many times a day do you check your social media accounts? Be honest!… Remember, this is a guilt-free zone!
I’ll tell you that I happen to check my accounts all day!
And you know what?… There’s nothing wrong with that! what? Well, I truthfully believe technology is here to serve us. Technology has been able to connect us in more ways than one. I mean, you and I are able to interact right? But here’s where technology becomes “no bueno…” And trust me, it’s at no fault to technology, but more fault to the people using technology… and guess what, you might be friends with them!
Maybe not close friends or even “real life” friends, but they are certainly clouding up your space! Again, not a bad thing if the people we follow are able to amplify our lives right? But what about those who just seem to take up your precious energy just by simply reading what they have to say?
You know what I’m talking about and we are going to change that starting now. Because according to several online statistics, Social Times being one. We spend on average (rounding this up) 2 hours a day on social media! That’s about 14 hours a week!
If we are spending 14 hours a week on social media, then we have to make sure all the posts that we read during that time is going to make us feel good, and cater to a more positive frame of mind.
Remember: Just because you aren’t physically around these people, their negativity is affecting you just as much! And if you are a woman who is inspired by growth and making your life what you want it to be (which I know you are), then we need to start clearing up some of the clutter that may be surrounding you.
Enjoy today’s video and I’d like you to Un-Follow at least 5 people that don’t serve you. Once you do that, please comment below which type of social media “crime” they were committing. I talk about three in this video!
