Dating Tips for Women: The Pros and Cons of Dating in a Modern World

by Christal Fuentes

Christal sits down with TLC’s Creative Director to discuss single life, how to get over a breakup, new and obnoxious dating terms you need to know, 1st date deal breakers, and where people go wrong with dating.

I had so much fun recording the first episode of Talk Listen Change with our very own Creative Director, Chrissy Dreyer (aka Cakes). Tequila was poured before this episode which (not gonna lie) helped us spill ALL the beans. When I say “we” I mean, Cakes!

In this episode, Cakes opens up about her most recent breakup and what helped her move on in a healthy way. She also goes into the new world of dating… WHAT A TRIP! There were times I held back laughter when she was discussing her dating experiences with some pretty extreme characters. **HINT** Mr. Blah Blah, Henry Cavill, and the Magician.

As most of you know, I’ve been out of the dating world for a while so these stories gave me life. I also am not privy to the new dating terms you whipper snappers are using now adays so Cakes thought it’d be a fun idea to quiz me… Without telling you too much I got a (D-).

Let’s see how well YOU do!

Later in the podcast, we discuss DEAL BREAKERS! We asked you ladies earlier in the week what yours were and you here were the TOP three…

TLC Deal Breakers:

1. Bringing up past relationships (just don’t, no one cares!)

2. Being too flashy (Your BMW and cash is not doing you justice when you don’t have the personality to back it up)

3. Bad tippers (First and last date with a person like this… PS: I’ll take the check please!)

There you have it, first date deal breakers from YOU ladies! Thank you for your participation and engagement and we hope you enjoy our very first episode of Talk Listen Change!
