Single or in a Relationship – Why You MUST Have a Relationship Vision

by Christal Fuentes

Christal discusses why having a relationship vision is important in order for us to understand who we are – Why we should ditch the words, happy, passion, and positive – How self-awareness might come from having the AUDACITY to make shit up.

Can I just say, you ladies are KILLING IT this week! Since our last episode, where we talked about values, you all have been doing your homework.

I can’t tell you how many “Core Values” lists I’ve been getting in my inbox. I promise you; I will get to back to each, and every one of you. It may take some time, so please be patient with me, but I WILL get through them all. The reason why I want to spend time doing this is that I believe this is one of the most important practices we can do. It’s at the core of everything that matters in our lives.

Ok.. but now there’s something else that’s important ladies, ready for it? (As if you didn’t have enough homework)

Yup, what’s your relationship vision? Do you know? Do you even know what a relationship vision is?

NO. You don’t have to be in a relationship to have a “relationship vision.”

As you know TLC is all about relationships in the way, we relate to life. So although today’s topic is about relationship visions, this really is your LIFE vision. In fact, my single ladies can benefit most from this topic.

Why? Because you are at the perfect time to figure this out, so you will know what to look for IF / WHEN you decide you want to share your life with someone.

One of the most significant problems I’ve been seeing with my ladies is we don’t like talking about ourselves. We are pros at shining a light on all the beautiful things other people do, but we rarely take time to honor who we are, what we love, or what we want.

Well, today, it’s going to be all about you babe. Actually, the rest of November and December is a perfect time for self-introspection. Sets us up perfectly for the new year right?

This time, instead of creating New Year’s goals, I want us to take the time to discover WHO. WE. ARE. And create a vision that feels exciting too. Having a vision is WAY better than any goal we will ever try to achieve because you will notice that you will start to work towards a dream without it feeling like it’s pulling teeth.

So here’s what I want you to do. I want you to grab a notebook and pen for today’s episode, and the first thing I want you to write down is this word: AUDACITY.

Now, I want you to circle, highlight and underline the shit out of this work because I want you to have the AUDACITY to ask for what you want. I want you to have the AUDACITY to dream of something that might sound crazy. I want you to have the AUDACITY to drown out the voices that tell you or have told you that you aren’t worth it.

I want you to have the AUDACITY to create a life of your choosing.

I know this sounds cliche but, we aren’t the bunch to settle now, are we? The fact that you follow TLC means you are craving something more, so here is your opportunity. TAKE IT!

Together, let’s create a vision that makes us wake up every day excited to work towards the life WE want to create.
