How to Feel Comfortable in Your Body During Sex

by Christal Fuentes

In a recent poll we hosted in our Secret FB Group, we asked what:

What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to sex and intimacy?

1. Low Sex Drive
2. I don’t feel attracted to my partner
3. My partner doesn’t seem to want to have sex
4. Life is getting in the way
5. I don’t feel comfortable in my body

Why women struggle with sex and intimacy: “low sex drive” and “I don’t feel comfortable in my body.”

So I thought we’d discuss this a bit more. In our first Sex Talk Series, we got into the factors plaguing women’s sex drive. In Pt. 2 we expanded the scope of intimacy and how to open up that language within our relationships.

How to Feel Comfortable in Your Body During Sex

Today, we are going to talk about how we can begin feeling comfortable in our bodies, because there is no reason why your sexy, gorgeous ass should not be getting pleasure from the gifts your body holds.

It’s true babe, your body does SOOO much for you, but we choose to dismiss her and make her feel un-worthy of deep satisfaction and joy. We choose to believe she needs “work” instead of worshiping the magical essence of who she is.

Today, I want to give you some tips that can help you fall into your body a bit more. There’s also a powerful 30 day practice I suggest for anyone who is feeling uncomfortable in their body. This a practice that will not only help you connect with your body but help you re-wire the thoughts you carry about her.

Here’s the thing babes, I don’t want you to feel like it’s abnormal to feel uncomfortable at times. I mean, it’s human nature. Even as a teacher of this stuff, I fall into the traps of criticizing my body. But it’s really important we find ways to quickly recover.

For instance, if I feel bloated or my body is in the middle of my period, I will find comfy clothing and materials that accentuate the parts I love. Maybe you’re not comfortable showing your body off but can you play with your eyes? You don’t have to just focus on the physical aspects of sex. Energetic play is also VERY sexy.

What about your hair?

I play with my hair all the time when I’m getting in the mood. I can be in boy shorts and a sweatshirt but what makes me feel sexy is playing with my hair. Pulling it over my face, whipping it around or accentuating my eyes.

There are so many creative ways to feel sexy, and if that’s something you want me to go deeper with. LET ME KNOW!

I’d love to dive deeper.

Ok, now I want to hear from you…

What’s something you absolutely LOVE about your body? What’s the sexiest part of you and how can you accentuate that part more?
